A dream team: VEEPEAK OBDCheck Mini Bluetooth OBD-2 scanners are the most practical and compact diagnostic devices when it comes to reading the vehicle data of your electric car – and they are also perfectly compatible with the EVNotify app. They allow you to check the battery status and charging processes, as well as connect to A Better Routeplanner (ABRP). The dongle does not switch off automatically after a certain period of time, but remains switched on when your electric car is driving/charging and switches to standby mode as soon as you switch it off. This effectively conserves the 12V battery and there is only a low residual risk of it discharging.
Schnelle Lieferung, Gerät ist handlich, APP funktioniert.

FAQ
Any questions?
Is an app included with the device? How do I choose the right app for my EV?
No, an OBD2 app is required but not included. There are many great third-party OBD2 apps available for download from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store (some may require purchase). The features they offer depend mainly on the app you choose. For general OBD2 functions, we recommend Car Scanner ELM OBD2, Infocar or OBD Fusion (paid). They cost between 0-10€. Some advanced apps require a subscription or are more expensive, such as BimmerCode or OBD JScan. For advanced vehicle-specific functions, see the app recommendations listed below:
Toyota & Lexus: OBD Fusion, Carista OBD
FCA: OBD Fusion, OBD JScan, AlfaOBD
Ford, Lincoln & Mazda: OBD Fusion, FORScan Lite
Nissan & Infiniti: OBD Fusion, Carista OBD
Volkswagen/Audi/Seat/Skoda: Carista OBD
BMW & Mini: BimmerLink, Carista OBD
Others: GaragePro Car OBD2 Scanner
Does the scanner work with iOS devices (iPhone or iPad)?
The OBDCheck BLE is compatible with Apple iOS devices via Bluetooth LE. You should not pair or connect in the iOS Bluetooth settings, but connect directly in the app. Note: Wi-Fi is not used.
Is the scanner compatible with Android head units?
It works with Android smartphones and tablets, but may have compatibility issues with some Android head units due to lack of support for certain Bluetooth profiles. Due to the complexity of the market, we do not have a compatibility list. For some Android head units, you can check the Bluetooth settings and see if the pairing PIN is disabled or incorrect. If that does not help, please contact VEEPEAK or the head unit manufacturer for assistance.
Can I leave the device pluged in permanently?
You can leave the adapter connected for a few days if your car battery is not too old and your electric car is driven frequently. However, if you leave your electric car parked for longer than a week, we recommend that you disconnect the device.
Does the scanner work with plug-in hybrids (PHEVs) and electric vehicles (BEVs)?
Most electric vehicles (including PHEVs) do not comply with standard OBD2 specifications, so you may need a suitable app for connection, e.g. Car Scanner ELM OBD2 (select the appropriate connection profile), ABRP, LeafSpy, EVNotify, EV Watchdog, MyGreenVolt or CanZE.
Can the scanner reset my ABS, airbag and other non-check engine lights?
Most OBD2 apps only offer basic diagnostics for electrical-related check engine lights. You need a powerful app that can perform advanced diagnostics for your specific electric vehicle, such as OBD Fusion, OBD JScan, AlfaOBD or Carista OBD. Contact VEEPEAK or the app developer to check if it is available for your electric car. Warning lights for maintenance requirements cannot be read or reset as there is no error code for them.
Which sensor data can I access?
The readable parameters depend on what the manufacturer has installed on the OBD2 system. In general, newer electric vehicles provide more readings and a faster update speed.
